This cleansing oil did wonders for my blackheads! Blackheads started clearing up after 2ish weeks of everyday use. Purging is good! It just means that your skin is speeding up cell turnover and impurities are coming to head. On the other hand, fungal acne can't be treated with double cleansing/ exfoliating. Oils make fungal acne worse. You need tea tree shampoo or other anti-fungal things.All in all, great price and great product.

I never knew that oil based cleansers were a thing until i saw this on a beauty product list. I was curious about double cleansing, so i took a chance and ordered this.At first, it feels so wrong. You’re putting this oily cleanser on DRY skin. With dry hands. But you have to, you know, the whole oil and water not blending thing.I’m sure other people rub this into their skin for longer than i do, but i feel that a thorough scrubbing is fine. I use this until the water is warm enough to rinse it off. I’ve seen pictures of other people scrubbing out visible blackheads, and that’s not been my experience. I don’t doubt their experiences—I just don’t have clogged pores like that. Nevertheless, I’m still pleased with this product. It rinses off cleanly and smells good.You should follow this with a water based cleanser. For those who say they are breaking out from this, I’m not sure if that’s because their skin is reacting to it for better or worse, or if it’s because they aren’t using a water based cleanser. This brand sells their own, of course, but you can use whatever you normally do. My skin is squeaky clean afterwards and I’m sold on double cleansing for life. I’ve already ordered my second bottle!

This is a great product if you’re looking for a light cleansing oil. It almost has the same consistency with the skin1004. This is good for oily and combo skin but I wouldn’t recommend this to dry/very dry skin. This removes light makeup/sunscreen and all impurities but doesn’t really help remove blackheads or sebacious filaments. It does help regulate sebum though. You can use this every night and do not need to double cleanse as double cleansing breaks your skin barrier. Just make sure to rinse it very thoroughly. As for sensitive skin, make sure to patch test first as heartleaf isn’t for everyone. Other than that, this is good and light, almost watery. I’d give this a 4.5.

I rarely write reviews but this cleansing oil is a game changer. I’ll admit I saw it on a product list and got curious. I’ve never been able to get rid of the blackheads and enlarged pores on my nose and cheeks, try though I have, but in literally 5 days with this I’m seeing noticeable improvement! I’ve been using it as step 1 of a double cleanse in the morning, and I will say I’m noticing my skin is a little on the dry side the past two days, so I may drop down to using this every other day, but I’m more than happy to do a little trial-and-error for something that gives actual results!

This product is really good. I don't wear heavy makeup but I still use it after I get home. I massage it on the tip of my nose and under my chin, where I feel rough when touching. And emulsify it with warm water to clean it. Rinse it off with cleanser. My face is as smooth as a baby's skin.
